B, B and B

Brooklyn Blue Beauty by Horse Cycles.  I saw this one in Pintrest.  Later I saw the forward facing view.  I'd still do the rear facing view if I had to do it again.  The Cranks and BB were very cluttered and that part is still sort of a mess.  I really like the handlebars however.

Burn for a single speed

This one had me looking all over the net for a Bianchi Pista Classica.  Lucky for me there aren't a lot of them around and if there are they are pricey.  This one turned out really well I think.  Getting the Celeste (pronounced che-les-te in Italian, Se-lest in English) color right was a bit tricky but I think I came close.  I wasn't totally happy with the lettering on the frame.  It's close to what the original was but not really quite there.

Ritte way to go.

I borrowed a technique from a fellow redditor and water color artist I-wanna-hug Kim Winberry.  I think I went to dark on the handle bar tape.  It was hard to get the "effect" I was looking for.  However the fine pen lines really helps out the over all feel.

Anyhow this is a Ritte Cyclocross Crossberg -

Old English

I'd had a request to do a different type of bike then my usual fat, adventure or mountain bike.  The request was for a track bike.  This came up in the search for a track bike.  Here's the full story on it -

I wasn't totally happy with the way the ink turn out.  I do like how the red blended into orange.  Thou I think there should be more orange then I put in.  I've got to learn to be a little less heavy handed on the color.

It's a Harley

Well I finally did a Harley. Took a lot of time to ink it in.  Originally this was a all black rig.  Black is boring.  So I spiced it up a bit.

Brompton in the house

Sticking with my off kilter bikes of late I decided to do a Brompton. The detail in the rear triangle was a bit much plus the color of the frame threw me a little.  I really like how it's turned out however.
